I'm usually pretty averse to heels of any type (it's not a stylistic choice, I just know that I will bust my ass whenever I try to walk in them), but I'm feeling some serious love for heeled boots at the moment. Have you ever wondered how ladies that rock these things all of the winter manage to not slide on ice and almost break their necks? I do that in flat snow-approved boots. Let me clarify that all of my heel fears will not stop me from trying to walk in a pair of these, you may just see me wobbling in them for a while like a newborn doe.
