STILL ALIVE + A POST +

Maybe it's the fact that I'm preparing to move, or the light traveling that I've been doing (that sounds glamourous, but I've actually only been on a quick trip to visit the new city that we're moving to, and we're currently preparing for a short trip to visit my dude's mom and my parents. Glamourous, no?) or the fact that I hate packing so much that I have a crippling sense of dread that consumes my every thought. hahaha no no, that would be weird to be so stressed about moving, right? ahem. But really, I've just been lacking in inspiration on top of everything else. It's somewhere deep inside that spongey brain of mine, but I have a feeling that it won't rear its beautiful head until after the move when I can let out one long breath that says "oh-thank-the-dear-sweet-lord-that-we-don't-live-in-Saint-Cloud-anymore." But, without further ado, a few things that have managed to catch my attention in my moving stress-induced coma.

WISHLIST | SPRING

+ SPRING WISHLIST +

I know you're going to think two things the moment that you see this post: 1. "Really Jenny, spring clothes again? Get over it," and, 2. "Stop posting so much damn stuff from Steven Alan. We get it. You love that shop." Well, to all of you, I say "I do what I want." Yes, I may have a minor obsession with both spring clothing and Steven Alan. So sue me (Editor's note: don't sue me). All of these dresses look so damn breezy and effortless. The sandals would let my poor wool sock suffocated feet breathe, and give me an excuse to go get a pedicure. Even if it only reaches the measly 50s this weekend, I will find a way to wear a dress and sandals if it's the last thing I do (which, let's face it, it might be because I'll probably freeze to death). Bring it on weather.

MY VALENTINE

I don't really get into Valentine's Day for all of those cliché reasons that people typically list (created by card companies, cheesy, we should celebrate love everyday, blah blah blah), but that doesn't mean that I don't appreciate it for the basic sentiment of celebrating our loved ones. This is pretty last minute so I don't think it will help any of you looking for gifts at the Zero Hour, but maybe it will give you an idea of what to buy for your loved one (or for yourself) on any random day that you want to give them something special.

THREADS | STEVEN ALAN SPRING 2013

For the past week or so it has been in the negatives every time I have left the house. Uncool (or too cool, I suppose) weather gods. I guess it's no surprise that I have been longing for warmer temps to come and ogling clothing that have no sleeves and can be worn sans a giant coat that looks like a belted duvet. It's pretty obvious that I love Steven Alan—he is an evil genius who wants all of my money. When I saw the Spring 2013 collection, I pretty much cried over a mixture of its beauty/how cold I am. Give me days in the 70s and that first dress and I'll be one happy camper.

THIS IS RAD + A FRIDAY ROUNDUP +

Here's a collection of stuff that I stumbled upon this week that was pretty damn rad. Please enjoy, then have a great weekend!

Incredibly cool T-Shirts by Rose Blake (I'll take one of each please).

Having enough money to buy these super cool new pieces by Acne from Steven Alan would be just peachy.

Everybody's favorite cat lady (used in the best sense of the term) Leah Goren has some new items in her shop and some beautiful photos to accompany them.

Father John Misty's performance of R. Kelly's "I Believe I Can Fly" on the SS Coachella last month is a piece of both musical and comic genius.

Well, my favorite store is having a sale and I want all of the things. I also have none of the money, so I won't be buying any of these beautiful clothes. If you do have money, head over to StevenAlan.com to get 25% off all of the sale items!
