I'm not huge on Valentine's Day, but I like any excuse to buy something thoughtful for the people I love. I really like the idea of finding something unique for my favorite people—a book I thought they'd like, a luxurious beauty set—but some cliché gifts are cliché for a reason. Chocolate and jewelry still have an important place in V-day gifts, but please, just stay away from "going to Jared" and hoping that "a kiss will begin with Kay," okay?
