THIS IS RAD + A FRIDAY ROUNDUP +

Apparently this beautiful home made its way to the internet last fall, but I'm just now stumbling upon it. It's a little industrial for my taste, but the bright, open rooms, white furnishings, and greenery are all right up my alley.

Miss Moss now has a tumblr, Mrs Vrs, that is chock full of fashiony goodness. Diana has such an amazing eye for style that I find myself clicking those little tumblr hearts on every single post.

Even though I fear that this is a blog that is slowly becoming dedicated solely to Annie Clark, I couldn't help but post the new St. Vincent music video for the first single from her forthcoming self-titled album. The David Byrne influence seems to be even more emphasized in this video with its geometric shapes, bold colors, and structured costumes. Have I mentioned how excited I am for the new album?

THIS IS RAD + A FRIDAY ROUNDUP +

Carrie Brownstein's amazing bungalow in Portland is a dream. Yes, it's very "Portlandia-y" but, ya know, she lives in Portland. All of the vintage mid-century furniture and all of that vinyl have me swooning hard. (via Elle

Homes like this one really makes me wish I lived in Southern California. It doesn't hurt that we are currently living in an icy tundra and I can just tell by all of the sunlight pouring in through the windows in this house that it's nice and warm. God, I can't wait until summer. (via remodelista)

Joaquin Phoenix gave a very, uhhh, interesting interview on Fresh Air this week. Terry Gross is a trooper though and made it through the somewhat difficult interview relatively unfazed/seemed to enjoy herself. That Joaquin is a difficult one, but I still love him. I definitely don't think that I would approach him if I saw him on the street though. (via npr)

THIS IS RAD + A FRIDAY ROUNDUP +

Time to bring back this ol' weekly post. Here are some things that made my week.

Vincent Kartheiser may play the obnoxious Pete Campbell on Mad Men, but the dude has a seriously amazing house. In the most recent issue of Dwell, they show his tiny Hollywood cabin in all of its glory. It's only 580-square-feet, but he uses the space so well. It definitely has a minimalist-yet-cozy feel to it. The drop down bed is brilliant and the outdoor space is so peaceful and beautiful. I would like somebody to build me an exact replica of this house, please.

I'm totally digging these backpacks from a new company called MIJLO who wants to create a better backpack through good materials and a simple design.

And of course, how can I not mention the new Wes Anderson Commercial for Prada? The man does no wrong. Also, Jason Schwartzman should be in everything.
