Things remain pretty busy around here, but yesterday was my dude's B-day, so we took a break to go see a movie, get a suburban dinner, and bake a cake. Well, a cake in loaf form. I don't own a cake pan and Martha told me that it was perfectly acceptable to bake this cake in a loaf pan, et voila, that's how my cake was made. There was a side of delicious honey cream cheese frosting, which I've been tempted to eat by the spoonful.
I'm heading out on a plane today to go back to Austin (so soon!) to enjoy the city, significantly warmer weather, and some dental work (yay?). I probably won't be able to post on here, so enjoy your week and start preparing for the main event next week (Thanksgiving, of course)!
